Ricky spent over 40 years as a systems engineer specializing in heavy, long-range radar systems. His expertise supported the testing and evaluation of critical space and defense technologies, including missiles and space hardware. Ricky’s contributions include designing transmitter and receiver systems and implementing advanced IT systems for cutting-edge tracking radar technologies. He holds the FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) and is an active Amateur Extra license holder in amateur radio – Callsign: N4LE.

Community and Volunteer Work

Ricky serves as the volunteer engineer-at-large for WRDJ-LP 93.5 FM, a radio ministry operated by Calvary Chapel Merritt Island (CCMI), Florida. Additionally, he uses his technical expertise to assist CCMI with IT systems and musical equipment repairs for the worship team and local Christian musicians.

Ministry Involvement

Ricky is actively engaged in Christian ministry. He is one of four monthly speakers at the Merritt Island House of Hope men’s fellowship, delivering Bible studies and topical messages. As an ordained and credentialed chaplain under the International Fellowship of Chaplains (IFOC), Ricky brings spiritual support and guidance to his community.
